I have set a challenge for myself

I have been trying to think of a crafting challenge/ goal for myself for this new year of 2012, and yes I know that I am a little late in starting this, but like I said I have been trying to decide how I wanted to do this.  And hey, better late than never, right.

What I have decided to do is to challenge myself to make some kind of crafting project every single day.  I love all forms of crafting from scrapbook layouts, cards, altered projects, and so on and so on.  Not to mention that I have several Cricut cartiages that I have never used yet other than linking them to my Gypsy. 

I have had several ideas in my head of different projects that I want to do but just haven't gotten around to making them so I am hoping that with this challenge I will get all of the projects that I want to get done and and then some. 

I have made a few projects this year which I will do a recap post this weekend of the projects that I have made so far this year with pictures.

I did make a spring altered project today which I am very glad at how it turned out, it's not much but I love it.  I have not taken a picture of it yet but I will do that tomorrow and get it posted for you all to see.

Now, wish me luck on meeting my challenge of making some kind of project each and everyday from here to the end of the year.

3-4-2012 Design Team Challenge from Queen of My Craft Room

This weeks Design Team Challenge from "Queen of My Craft Room" was to make a Get Well Card.  I made a Gate Fold Card, the size started out as 6x12 and scored marks at 3" and 9".  I also added gems with my iRock, I love my little iRock.  I hope that you enjoy my design for this week and please visit each one of the other design team members to see what they all made this week as well, we have got a group of very talented ladies.

2-26-12 Design Team Challenge

For this weeks challenge for the Design Team at Queen of My Craftroom was to make a Scrapbook Page Layout and the Theme was Family. The product line that I used is from Paper Studio, my layout idea came from the idea book "Magic" from Close to My Heart. 

My Card Challenge for Design Team at Queen of My Craftroom for Week of 2-19-12

Here is the card that I made this week for the Design Team Challenge at Queen of My Craftroom. The challenge was to make a card using Ribbon, Bling, and Stickles. I used Purple and Blue Destressed Stickles on the Butterfly, the Bling as you can see is at the bottom of the card, and with the ribbon I made a bow as well as placed a stripe of the ribbon at the top of the card under a little blue button. I colored the whole card with the Destressed Ink in colors of Broken China and Milled Lavender. The Die Cuts are from the Cricut Cartiage Art Philosophy, the Stamp, and the Black Destressed Ink used for the stamp were all from Close to My Heart.  I hope that you enjoy this weeks challenge.

My Feb. 5th Design Team Challenge for Queen of My Craft Room

Here is what I made for my first project designing for Queen of My Craft Room. The challenge was to make something for Valentine Treats. Everyone made amazing things. I am so happy to a part of a wonderful group of talented ladies.
