This is an awesome way to get a lot of your Christmas cards, and scrapbook layouts finished, home decorations completed and maybe even be inspired to create something using a new technique that you have never tried. Now onto my project for today...

 Today I would like to share with you the advent calendar that I made for my Daughter. She loves the Grinch, so I made a Grinch themed advent calendar. I took your ordinary over the door shoe holder, added some red and white sparkly garland that is actually meat to go on small Christmas tree's.
Each day she moves the stuffed Grinch over to the next day/pocket, turns the number card over to revel a page from the Grinch story book to read, then she can open a little present wrapped in Grinch wrapping paper of course.
