Wedding Card

My Daughter and I going to a wedding this weekend of two friends of hers from high school, they were all in marching band together, so for four years they felt like they were part of my family as well.
So, today I made a Wedding Card to give to them.  I think that it turned out pretty good if I do say so myself, lol.

I used the Tie the Knot Cricut Cart. to cut out the Mr & Mrs  as well as the two Doves.  I inked the edge of the card to match the Mr & Mrs and the Doves.  I layered another piece of white card stock and dry embossed it, then lastly I added a piece of white ribbon that also has pearls in twined.

Enjoy and Until Next Time, Happy Crafting,

Here is a Birthday Card that I made for my

My Smash Book

I  joined a new group on Face Book last week...Smash Addicts.  I love it.  The creator, http://www.facebook.com/CricutDivaSCR,  gave us a couple of challenges to do, which was to Smash about ourselves and also to smash about either our favorite movie or star.

Here are a couple of pictures of what I did.

Here is the cover that I sort of decorated a little.

This is the two page layout.  I combined both challenges on these two pages.

Here is a little closer look at the first page.

And a little closer look at the second page.

I hope you enjoyed my Smash Book.  So, until next time...
Happy  Crafting,

Coupons, Coupons, Coupons, and Coupons

Well, sorry for posting these so late in the week, but at least you still have two more days left to use your coupons for this week and if you are like most people you wait til the end of the week to go shopping anyways.  So, happy shopping.

Happy Crafting,
Robin

A Very Special Group

I also joined another very special group this week on FaceBook..."Halloween Spooktacular Banners for Special Needs Kids".  This is a special group of compassionate and caring ladies that come together quarterly to be featured in a blog hop that shows the banners that they have all designed, made and donated.  The rooms will be hung in the rooms of special needs, medically fragile kids at Pediatric Specialty Care in Bucks County, PA, where the hop coordinator, Ellen Jarvis works as Admissions Coordinator.

It will be very meaningful for me to work with this group and making banners for some special needs kids, as some of you may or may not know we had a special needs Daughter that lost her battle with Rett Syndrome seven years ago at the age of nine.  In her short nine years she touched so many lives.  So, it will mean a lot to me to make something that may brighten someone's day.

In fact, joining this group has actually got me thinking about looking at starting something like this up in my area.  As soon as I get something put together I will let everyone know and be asking for help in touching the lives of some very special kids.

Until later Happy Crafting,
Robin

Smash Addicts

I joined a great group on FaceBook yesterday that I am having a lot of fun with, it is called..."Smash Addicts".  It is a great bunch of ladies that all love to craft.  We all have a Smash book in one form or another, either the ones that you buy from K & Company or ones that we have made, and then there are those of us that have both the ones that you buy and have made one.  As you saw in one of my old post that I made Smash book using Wizard of Oz scrapbook paper along with a few forms that I put together. Then, after joining this group yesterday, "Smash Addicts", and having so much fun and loving the challenges, I decided to go to Michael's today and buy a Smash book to work with this group. I bought one of the new larger Smash books with pockets, it is Red so it will also go along with my Wizard of Oz which I have already started decorating with the Wizard of Oz. I will continue to us my homemade Smash book for my projects as it was planned for and this new one will be for the "Smash Addicts" group.
I will take a picture of my new Smash book a little later and post it for you to see.

Happy Crafting,

Bloglovin

Ok, if you have not discovered this website you really need to, I LOVE IT.  It is called "bloglovin", you can find it at   http://www.bloglovin.com/ .   If you follow alot of different blog sites as I do, it can get pretty hard to go to each and every blog to see if someone has added something new.  And if you don't keep checking back you could miss some great project that you would love to make yourself.  So, comes in "bloglovin".... you can add all of the blog sites that you like to follow, and keep adding to the list as you find new sites that you want to follow.  Then each day you will get an email of all the blog sites that added something new with the link to go and check it out.

I hope that you will go check out "bloglovin" and love it as much as I do.

Happy Crafting,
