Technique Time Tuesday Crew Call Entry

Happy Thursday Everyone!

I have decided to apply for a crew call with Technique Time Tuesday.

There was several different technique's that I wanted to try and after a couple of trial and error I decided to submit the card that I used the technique...Bargello.  I actually had a lot of  fun making this card.

I used a blue and a pink cheetah print papers to make the Bargello.  I ink stressed the edge of the card with blue ink.  And I added a little sentiment to  just say "Hi" to the front of the card and attached it with foam dots to give it a little left.

Thank you for letting try this wonderful technique, I am looking forward to trying more as well as perfectly the one technique that I had a little trouble with.

Until Next Time...Happy Crafting,

Hiding In My Craft Room - Challenge #82

Happy Saturday Everyone!

This week over at Hiding In My Craft Room we are doing Valentine's Day.

hidinginmycraftroom.com

Our sponsor this week is...Sherri Baldy, she has given us a beautiful card making kit to work with.

For my project I made a digital card using Sherri's little Valentine girl, Creative Memories Storybook Creator Program and Cheerful Valentine digital kit.   The edges of the little Valentine girl I gave a rustic shadow effect to help it stand out.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting today.

Hiding In My Craft Room Challenge #81 - Tags

Happy Saturday!

(sorry I thought that my post went live on Saturday for this challenge but just discovered that it didn't, so here it goes)

hidinginmycraftroom.com

This challenge this week is to try a Techinque week and it is Tags.  This will be a lot of  fun!  You can make a tag or tags on something...a gift, a card, a scrapbook page.  Tags are so fun and easy to make.  Be creative!

You have until Friday, January 25th to link your creations to Hiding In My Craft Room and get entered into the giveaway.  When uploading to online galleries please use the code HIMCR81.

Now, to move on to the tag that I made for this weeks challenge...
I took a tag that has a picture of a map on it, added twine for the string at the top, a couple of flowers that have gold accents along the edge of the petals, then I took a few Tim Holtz products to finish off my tag...a clock face that I included some clock hands and a little sentiment "capture life's moments".  I attached the flowers and the clock with pop dots to give them a little depth.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting.

Hi, I am Robin and a work at home Mom.  I have been crafting for as long as I can remember, I actually can not remember a time when I have not been crafting.  I am on my third Cricut in two years, not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing, my Husband would probably say that it's a bad thing.  I love to craft so much that I carry my Gypsy with me everywhere I go in my purse so that I can some crafting when I am out and about playing that waiting game.  I actually love to do all kinds of crafting from card making, scrap booking, altered projects, and so on and so on.

I actually have several digital cards that I made to share with you today all with some kind of a celebrations theme.
I have two Birthday cards, one is for my Daughter who has a birthday coming up at the end of this month and the other one is for my Father in Law whose birthday is this Sunday.

An Anniversary card that I made for my Parents.

And last but not least I also made a Graduation card for my Daughter who will be graduating from college in 2014.

I want to thank you all again for stopping by and being  part of  our CELEBRATION Hop.  Your next stop should be with Teresa R. at...

Don't forget to hop all the way through leaving  comments for each of the Design Team Members and enter to win the blog candy at the end.

In case you get distracted along the way, here is a complete line up so that you can make it to the candy.
