Scrapbook Friday with My Cricut Craft Room

Happy Friday Everyone.  Today is Scrapbook Friday over at My Cricut Craft Room and for today's challenge we were to make a layout page with Characters.

For my layout I used the cartridge...Pooh and Friends.  This might be a simple layout but I must say that it is of one of my favorite pictures, one that I truly treasure.

Here is Pooh Bear peeking over the picture.  The picture I printed at 5x7.

Piglet doing a little dance.

And for the gems I used my IRock and added the little silver gems.

Thank you for stopping be and visiting today, I hope that you have enjoyed you time, and I hope that you will stop back by again.

Now I hope that you will head on over to...

to see all of the projects that my Design Team Sisters made for today's character layouts.

Halloween Treats

Well, it's almost that time again, to start handing out that wonderful Halloween candy.

For today's project I made a few little Halloween Treat bags.  I got the 1 inch bags from Stampin' Up filled them with different kinds of candy.  I punched out a scalloped circle out of a Halloween print paper, then another straight edge circle out of a cream colored card stock and some with black card stock.  I then ink destressed the edges of the smaller circles with either black or silver ink.  Then I used Close to My Heart Halloween stamp set to add the Halloween onto the center of the smaller circles.  And once I was done attaching the two circles together I then attached them to the top of the 1 inch treat filled bags.

Thank you stopping by and visiting, I hope that you have enjoyed today's project.
Until next time...Happy Crafting,
Robin

Card Creating Tuesday - Get Well

Happy Tuesday, today is Card Creating Tuesday at My Cricut Craft Room and the theme for today is to make a Get Well Card.

For today's card I used the Cricut Cartridge...Indie Art and cut out several band-aides in a few different colors and placed them all over the front of the card. I then took a 1 inch Get Well stamp from Close to My Heart and stamp the center of each band-aid, then placed each center on a foam sticker and placed them where they needed to be, right in the center of each band-aide.

I also placed on full band-aide on the inside of the card where I also stamped Get Well on the center of the band-aide.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting today, I hope that you will also head on over to

and see what my other Design Team Sisters made for today's project.

Until Next Time...Happy Crafting,

Scrapbook Friday - Mini Album Theme

It's Friday, Friday!  Happy Friday!!  Today is Scrapbook Friday over at My Cricut Craft Room and today project was to make a mini album.

For my mini album I made a Thanksgiving themed book which includes places pictures and/or a little journaling  and I also included recipe cards to write our favorite Thanksgiving recipes on.  A fun little project the family can help filling in on Thanksgiving after that wonderful Turkey Dinner filled with memories of that day...what's better than family time and food all wrapped up together.

For this project I used the following Cricut Cartridges...
*Pretty Pennants for the covers and pages as well as the caps and the overlay on the covers.
*Autumn Celebrations with the Cricut Pens for the Title Image.
*Celebrate with Flourish for the Turkey on the back inside cover.
*Art Philosophy for the Photo Mats on the inside to add pictures for Thanksgiving Dinner, as well as the Flowers on the front cover.
*Wall Decor and More for the Plate Setting on the front inside cover.

For the overlay I took a piece of cream colored textured card stock and sort of tye-dyed it with fall colored ink pads to give the look of fall leaves.

Here is a close up picture of the flowers on the front cover where I also used some of my homemade fall colored tye-dye paper.  I also added a brown pearl on the inside of each flower.

I had gotten the Cricut Glitter Gel Pens a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to use them, didn't turn out pretty, now I can't wait to use them again and again.

Here is the inside cover and the first page where I can either add a pictures a little journaling of our Thanksgiving Dinner.

Here are a few of the inside pages showing more mats and the recipe cards where I can add the recipe for our favorite Thanksgiving Dinner Recipe.

And here is the last page which will probably have the Dessert or at least one of the Desserts on it, and the inside of the back cover.

And last but not least I added a  piece of pink and white twine to the bottom of the card.
