Welcome to the Scraps to Treasure’s Blog Hop. We are independent bloggers who love to craft like crazy and show it all off, crafters from the sister group the “Krazy Crafting Crew”, and even more crafters have joined this open group to bring you many ideas on what to do with those crazy scraps that keep piling up! Our goal is to inspire you to go through your stash and create! If you would like to join this team you are welcome to share what you have too with new themes, challenges and more every month. Just contact Robin Scott or Lissa Marie on our blogs or on Facebook, if you are interested in joining our Scraps to Treasure Team too!

If you have stumbled upon this hop, and would love to start from the beginning, our host this month is...
Robin Lane from Create-a-Latte .

Fancy Fold Cards is the theme today, how fun and different then the ordinary card.

Welcome to my blog today, I am so excited to be hosting this months blog hop and I have some wonderful blog candy to give away. But first I would like to share with you my fancy fold card. The card fold that I chose was the Trifold Shutter Card. I have actually been wanting to make one of these cards for a while now and finally did it, yay. I got my diagram with measurements to make my card from Operation Write Home. I used white card stock for my card base then once I had everything that needed to be scored and cut on the base I took my ink pad from Close to My Heart in the color of Chocolate and ink stressed all of the edges of the card as well as stamping my sentiments. The stamp sets that I used are all from Close to My Heart. And the paper that I used were all scraps from a paper pack called "Dotty For You" which is also from Close to My Heart. I also attached a few jeweled Butterflies (that went along perfect with my Butterfly paper) that I got on closeout from Michael's.

Now, for the blog candy...
I have got a huge bundle of goodies to give away to one lucky person, this bundle is packed FULL of all kinds of goodies for you to make lots and lots of cards. In order for your chance to win you must be sure to visit each of the blogs in our hop today and show some love by leaving each of them a comment letting them know what you thought of their fancy fold card that they made to share with you.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today, enough to leave a little love through commenting. Our host is having a nice giveaway and a variety of blogs may be offering some blog candy as well, they all have their own wishes for you to win on their own blog, so don't forget to read the rules for each crafter has different requirements if they are offering any extra’s.

  24. Butterflies always made a good card great. I've made a couple of these cards and really like them. They look so difficult but once you figure out the process they're not as bad as you think. They really give the impression that you are such an expert. :-)
